Welcome to the Lakeland's Beekeeper Association

Picture
The Lakelands Beekeepers Association is comprised of members from 5 counties: Abbeville, Edgefield, Greenwood, Laurens, and McCormick in South Carolina. There are currently about 120 active members comprised of individuals, couples, and families. We raise bees for the love of the hobby, pollination, and honey production. We all have very diverse personal interests but are unified in the fascination and admiration of honeybees.

The Lakeland beekeepers have an ingrained respect for the knowledge of bees. We want to help our members to become "bee keepers" not just bee owners. Please get involved. Bees depend on us for their survival and you will find a satisfying hobby.
